First Birthday

We can hardly believe our little Rugrat is one year old already. He did wonderful despite the fact that he was feeling a little under the weather. Daddy bought him his own chocolate fudge cake, which was bound to be messy. Brenden didn't know what to do at first. We gave him a few tastes, then he tested it with his hand. Soon he was grabbing with one hand while the other was shoving cake into his face. It was a mini cake, but he ate more than half of it. I still can't believe he didn't get a tummy ache.

Ravioli is yummy!!!!

Brenden has been loving grown-up food. Today we nuked a Graduates Ravioli for him. Needless to say it was a hit. He ate every bit of it except for the sauce on his face and on his head. Good thing we like Ravioli because he is going to smell of it all day.

More Photos of the past few weeks....

Brenden's First Christmas!!!!

So it was Brenden's first Christmas and he got a few "Caterpillar" toys. He has been having fun putting blocks into the dump trucks and banging the blocks together. He still hasn't crawled yet but he rolls around everywhere and is curious about everything!! He has been enjoying all of his toys and it seems that our living room is turning into a play area. :-)

Family Christmas before Christmas :-)

So since everyone was going out of town for the holidays and we had to stay home this time because I had to work...we had Christmas early with everyone. So we all met up at our house and had a yumy dinner and opened Christmas presents. Ofcourse the kids were excited!! Madelyn and Forrest had a good time opening their presents and Brenden had a good time with the paper it seems. :-) He has been enjoying all of his presents though. Thank you to all!!!

Great Grandma gets her own post

There were too many pictures for just one post. Grandma gets her own post.

Belated Taylor Thanksgiving

Jim and Brenden ventured to the wilds of Spokane unsupervised this last weekend. His family arranged to meet and celebrate Thanksgiving a week off for schedule and $$$$ reasons. Jim was able to go while Riss was at home working. Having a sugar moma is a good thing, but we missed her in Spokane. Papaw and grandma Janet made the trip from Carlsbad, Uncle Chuck from Portland. Brenden got to see his great-grandma for the second time in about a month. He was very excited. This was Brenden's third round-trip flight. He's gonna be quite the jet-setter. Hopefully he can support his parents in the manner in which they would like to be accustomed to. :-)
