Visit to Rathrum

I traveled to Rathrum, ID to visit with friends and finally meet Miss Taryn for the first time since she was born in December. She is so cute!!! No everyone, it doesn't make me want another baby right now. I had fun loving on her though. We all met at Brooke's house and got to see the new house since it was built. I had a great time spending with friends and enjoyed playing with Carter and Taryn. Next time I will bring Brenden along to play with his friends. We made cookies and just hung out at the house which was relaxing and nice. We also celebrated Brooke's birthday...the big 29!! Next year will be 30!!! :-) I know what she will say too is that "She is the youngest" and she is right, Cora and me will turn 30 before she.

San Diego visiting with "Papaw" and Grandma Janet

Adding to our adventures....we had so much fun visiting with them. Brenden had a lot of fun hanging out with his Papaw and Grandma Janet. He also got a great cowboy hat and fun toys! We hung out at the house having barbecues, swimming in the pool, and just enjoying hanging out in the San Diego weather! We also went to Laguna Beach and had lunch, Balboa Island and walked around. Overall we had a fabulous vacation away from Boise and didn't want to come home....but always back to reality..right? Love you guys and look forward to another visit!! Thanks for everything!!!

San Diego- Visit with the Schillings

We recently traveled to San Diego, California and visited some great friends of ours! It was a short visit but we enjoyed every minute together! Izabella is such a beautiful girl that is fun, busy and keeping her mom and dad on the run! Meleah is so cute with her dimples and curly hair like her mom. We both enjoyed getting to play with the girls outside and visiting with Phil and Nelu. We both really wish we lived closer! Next time we will spend more time! Love and miss you guys!!!

Easter

We had Easter here with our family. It was fun getting to see the kids color Easter eggs, make rice krispie egg chaped treats and spending time with everyone! We missed those who couldn't be with us but was happy that it was a nice day to go easter egg hunting and play outside!

March and April Birthday's

So time really does fly by and I am terrible at keeping up with my blog. March was busy for us. Mom turned "60" on the 7th and we celebrated at Macaroni Grill!!! She was pleasantly surprised with guests to help her celebrate!! Then on the 21st little Maddie turned "4"!! She is getting so big! We all went to Pojos for her birthday and was able to ride some fun rides and play fun games. She also wanted to go to Red Robin and so we all went and had them sing "Happy Birthday", I think we all had a good time....but I don't know if I will ever go back to the crazy place called Pojos. :-)
In April we celebrated Jim's birthday on the 5th...yes..he is now 36! We had a party here at the house for him, some cake and everyone singing Happy Birthday to him...ofcourse him turning red!
We have been just busy with are family here trying to make our backyard more presentable, working and just getting ready for our trips this spring and summer!! We can't wait to see some of you and hope that we will see the rest soon!! We are going to San Diego in a few days and look forward to some warmer weather. We plan to go to the beach, see some great friends and spend time with Grandma Janet and Papaw!!

First Birthday

We can hardly believe our little Rugrat is one year old already. He did wonderful despite the fact that he was feeling a little under the weather. Daddy bought him his own chocolate fudge cake, which was bound to be messy. Brenden didn't know what to do at first. We gave him a few tastes, then he tested it with his hand. Soon he was grabbing with one hand while the other was shoving cake into his face. It was a mini cake, but he ate more than half of it. I still can't believe he didn't get a tummy ache.

Ravioli is yummy!!!!

Brenden has been loving grown-up food. Today we nuked a Graduates Ravioli for him. Needless to say it was a hit. He ate every bit of it except for the sauce on his face and on his head. Good thing we like Ravioli because he is going to smell of it all day.
