Continued Convention

I needed to add the other pictures to show all of you how much fun we had!!! I was so happy to have my consultant Lauri come with me this year and I know that she had so much fun and was really inspired!! This years going to be so much fun!! I can't wait for the possibilities, "Live like Never Before"!!!

Cookie Lee Convention

Today is the first day back from a fun, inspiring girls weekend!! This was my 5th convention and I never miss one. They are so much fun and feel so inspired and ready for the season! Convention was fully packed with meetings learning so much, inspiring talks, meeting new friends, and spending time with all of my sisters!!! Dad and Leanne's Gravesite

Today we also went and put flowers on Dad and Leanne's gravesites. It is so sad and we still can't believe it. We miss him so much!! I will continue to smile at the great memories of my awesome father!!! I love you Dad!!
So here is a picture for everyone that has asked how it looks and those who can't be here to see it!!! It is a beautiful cemetary and we all are so happy for that!

Wright's Barbecue

Today we went to the Wrights (Patrick, Lauri, Emily and Ethan) for a barbecue done by her sister Angela Fish who does "The Pampered Chef". She made some wonderful food with all of the fancy cooking items, some of them being a basket that you put like shrimp, veggies in and can put it right on the grill! It was SO yummy! Then she made a trifle dish of strawberries and blueberries with whipped cream and angel food!!! So good!! Ofcourse I enjoyed it tremendously because I love desserts!!! It was so fun getting to see everyone even those I haven't seen in years!! It was awesome getting to see Holly and Scott with Ryan and how great he is doing!! Also Stephanie and David with their kids and how big all of them are getting...the last time I saw them Stephanie was pregnant with Asher. Wow how time does fly by. Fun getting to see the kids play on the water slide and getting to hold Blake he is SO cute!!! Mandi looks fabulous for just having a child just 8 weeks ago!!! Brenden had a good time in the walker that Lauri has with toys...just entertained himself most of the evening...it seems like the minute we left though he was out sleeping in the car. He was easy to put to bed tonight...well he is easy everynight...we are so blessed!! Thank you! So we had a fun evening with everyone and hope to see everyone again sometime soon!

Brenden's 6 month Appt.

Brenden had his 6 month appointment yesterday and we found out he is 20 lbs 3ozs. and 28 1/2 inches long!!! He is growing too fast for me!!! He is so funny laughing, cooing, blowing bubbles, screaming and saying "dadadada" bummer for me...he said dada first. We are excited though!! He is so much fun!! Today Auntie Lori, Uncle Denny, Forrest and Madelyn are watching him and Mom and Dad are going out to dinner and a movie for their 2nd anniversary...can you believe it??? We can't! It is actually on the 18th but wanted to try and go out when it was on a weekend. That is all for now...will update more tomorrow.

Growing up too fast!!!!

On Sunday we met Lori and Madelyn at Red Robin for lunch and Brenden tried out the high chair and did great in it. He is getting so big and I can't believe how fast he is growing up. He was so content just looking around at all the people, lights and sounds. We will have to take him there on family night when Red Robin is there and he can see him. That should be interesting. Anyways we had a relaxing Sunday otherwise and worked on things at the house. We have been working with Brenden and sitting up and he is doing well. He is sitting for a little while and then falls over but he is getting stronger and figuring it out. So I will keep you all updated on the progress. We continue to do tummy time and he hates it but loves to stand and his little legs are so strong. So I am thinking he will probably walk early...well I don't ....maybe. :-)

Saturday Fun!!!!

So today was lots of fun...sad in the beginning. We went to my Dad and Leanne's gravesite and placed flowers today...so that was hard but I am hoping one day it will get easier. I keep saying remember the good times and celebrate the life they lived. "Each day is a gift...that is why they call is the present!" My whole family lives by that!!
We also went to the park and it was so fun getting to see how Brenden liked the waterpark and seeing Kuai run and fetch the ball...he loves to play fetch...if any of you know him well. :-) It was so hot though and we both drank a Nalgene bottle of water during the whole walk and it really wasn't that far but if was SO hot!! Little man had fun though...he loves to go on walks and I am glad for that because I need to do more walking. We realized today that Brenden is finally too big for his swing. I tried putting him in it today...ofcourse he loved it but it won't swing...he is too heavy now. He has his 6 month appt on the 15th so we will see how long and how much he weighs then. He is SO much fun though and just so happy, giggly and makes Jim and myself smile all the time. Kuai I think has warmed up to him too...I think he is a little jealous though still...wanting that attention...but Brenden just laughs when he sees him and tries to lick him back when Kuai licks him.

Sweet, Cute Beautiful Brigitte

So today I took a meal to my good friend Christy who had a baby about a week and a half ago and her little girl is SOOOO cute!!!! So I know...you are all asking...no it doesn't make me want to have another child right now. It makes me realize how much easier Brenden is getting to take care of. He is SOOO tremendously good!! I am very blessed right now. So I took a picture of Brigitte today and she is just bright eyed!! It was funny because Brenden the whole time just kept looking at me the entire time while I was holding her.
Also today I talked to my good friend Amber over in Washington,D.C. They are leaving tomorrow on their trek across the US to Seattle, Washington to their new hometown. She said it will take them 2880 miles for the trip and I am sure glad it is not me. We wish them luck on their trip and to drive safely. We are extremely excited to have them so much closer for awhile. The flight is so much shorter and so I am hoping for lots of visits back and forth...hint hint :-)

Relaxing Day

Sorry I haven't posted anything till today. I have been working the last few days and there is no time but eat, sleep and work....well that is how it seems. I took these photos the other day and I thought they were so cute!!! Our little guy turn 6 months tomorrow....I still can't believe it!!! Brenden is so much fun and Jim and I still can't believe he is ours!!! He hasn't started sitting up yet but he is close to it!!

New Church

Hello everyone!!! We attended Ustick Baptist Church today and it was a lot of fun. Everyone was so nice and greeted us with so much love. :-) We met Lori, Den, Forrest, Maddie and Mom there and then went to Red Robin for lunch. It was so yummy!! Wish I didn't like that place so much. I will never lose weight this way!! We had a good morning and afternoon!! Now we are all relaxing well Jim and myself and our little man is resting. He was so tired so he is probably enjoying his nap right now. Wish we still got naps...I sometimes really need one :-). All for now....miss you all!!

Mamma Mia!!!!!!!!!!

So today was a girls day and we had SO much fun. Mom, Lori, Auntie, Dee, Erin and myself went to Mamma Mia and it was SO good. We all laughed, cried and had so much fun!!! Then we all went out to talk more about it with some fun drinks!! Love it!!! Poor Daddy was home with chunk a bunk :-( we all did miss everyone. ;-) So I recommend getting the tickets to go see the movie.....definitely a chick flick but so good!!!!

Fourth Of July

We went to San Diego for the Fourth to visit family and friends and had SO much fun!!! It was so nice getting to see "Papaw" and Grandma Janet as well as Nelu, Phil, Izabella, and Meleah!!! We had fun walking to the beach, listening to jazz music, shopping, eating good food and just enjoying each other!! We miss all of you so much and wish that we all lived closer to spend more time together!
